Privacy Policy
Updated 2026-06-21
This privacy policy explains how Merckit handles customer, checkout, support, and seller-operation data.
Merckit sells digital products and service workflows only. No physical item is shipped.
Data we collect
- Contact details submitted through forms or checkout, such as name, email, country, optional phone or messenger handle, order number, and support messages.
- Billing and order records handled by the connected payment provider.
- Seller context such as marketplace, SKU count, country, and first margin problem.
- Operational seller inputs voluntarily shared for setup, such as SKU costs, prices, fees, ad spend, shipping, fulfillment, taxes, and discount assumptions.
- Technical logs, cookies, analytics, and security data required to operate the website and service.
How we use data
We use data to process orders, deliver digital products, respond to support requests, prepare onboarding, calculate unit economics, improve product workflows, maintain security, prevent fraud, comply with payment-provider requirements, and keep business records.
Payment data and payment processor
Payments for Merckit digital products are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). When a customer pays, card, bank, wallet, or other payment credentials are submitted directly to and processed by Stripe. Merckit does not store, process, or have access to full card numbers or payment credentials. Merckit receives only the order and payment-status information needed to confirm delivery, provide support, process refunds, and keep accounting records (for example, name, email, country, amount, currency, and payment status).
Stripe acts as an independent data controller for the payment data it collects. Stripe's handling of personal data is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.
Sharing
Merckit may share data with hosting, payment, email, analytics, security, support, legal, accounting, or infrastructure providers only as needed to operate the website and deliver the digital product. Merckit does not sell customer seller data.
Retention and security
Order, support, and delivery records are retained as needed for customer support, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, and product improvement. Merckit uses reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Customer rights
Depending on location, customers may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, opposition, portability, consent withdrawal, or information about sharing. Requests can be sent through the contact page or info@merckit.com.
